Stillness in Shade — A Study of Form and Light

Sketching with pencil feels like quiet time with myself. I love how just a simple graphite line can show light, shadow, and shape—no colors needed! My favorite things to draw are teacups, books, and my cat napping in the sun. Sometimes my lines are shaky, and I erase a lot, but that’s okay. Each sketch is like a little story made of patience and observation. It’s not about being perfect—it’s about seeing the world more closely, one soft stroke at a time.

I spent a long time working on this painting because I'm especially drawn to the way glass reflects light and the unique aesthetic of black-and-white artwork — that's exactly why I chose to create this piece.

This is another one of my paintings. It primarily depicts how, in the face of natural disasters, humans employ extensive technology that ends up polluting nature. In the center of the painting is a tree trunk. Below it are rural areas, while above are destroyed buildings and a polluted environment.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
